Today Bill and his wife, Connie spend a great deal of time doing Carter Family workshops and playing with their bluegrass and string band in South Carolina.  Bill will tell you his wife has been a real supported of his music and has gained great knowledge over the past 27 years they have played music together.  She plays guitar, bass, sings, and is trying to play old time fiddle.  Connie is a good old time dancer and is a natural on stage and they work well together.
